Napa Valley vineyards beneath the mountains

The Heir Apparent story

Make something worth passing on.

A family-led collection of Napa Valley wines, made to be opened, remembered,
and passed on.

A family affair

Wine has a way of becoming part of a family.

The bottles you open, the ones you save, the places you return to, and the stories that get told again and again.

Heir Apparent grew from that idea. We wanted to create a collection that could become part of those moments too; wines to open now, save for later, and someday pass along.

We work with vineyards across Napa Valley, letting each place lead rather than forcing every wine into the same mold. The collection will continue to change, just as we will.

Time tells the story

One valley, many expressions

Every place leaves its mark.

Napa Valley is not one single place or one single style. Mountain sites, valley-floor vineyards, changing elevations, and distinct soils give every appellation its own personality.

Our releases explore that range, from the mountain character of Howell and Mt. Veeder to the distinct personalities of Rutherford and Stags Leap District.
